Hugo Rolf Hansen (39) (expedition leader) is born and raised in Harstad, Norway. He works as a lawyer in Oslo and has consequently no professional skills which may come in handy on a trip like this. Hugo is however very good in getting gear which makes camp life as comfortable as possible. On the other hand Hugo has extensive experience from kite trips on the Hardangervidda mountain plateau and various other cold places in Norway.
Bjørn Einar Bjartnes (28) (deputy expedition leader) is born and raised in Bærum, Norway. He holds a Master of Science degree from NTNU and has with his prominent technical background a valuable knowledge which will come in handy when any field repairs are required. On a previous trip he constructed the legendary “beak” which in a remarkable way protects the carrier’s nose from sun burn. Bjørn Einar has also extensive experience from various kite trips in harsh conditions.
